North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County victorious over Washington County

December 21, 2024: Plymouth, NC 27962

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Currituck County Knights basketball team scored a good 46-36 triumph over the Washington County Panthers.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Oscar Smith topped Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 46-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Washington County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Aces go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 41-23 non-league win over Bertie (Windsor, NC).
