Next, the Cowboys encounter the Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) in a B Region 8 test, on Friday, January 3. Lemmon will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Irrigators come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 61-28 non-league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD).

The (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Washburn (Washburn, ND). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record.
