The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN) and the host Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY), observed New Albany's basketball team overwhelm Holy Cross by a score of 55-21.
The Bulldogs (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, IN). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Salem was routed by North Harrison (Ramsey, IN), 55-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Northeast Eagles (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN).
