High School Basketball - IMG Academy nips Varsity Opponent

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting IMG Academy Ascenders basketball team scored a close 47-46 win over the Varsity Opponent .
The Ascenders (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Palm Bay edged Potomac School (McLean, VA), 61-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Varsity Opponent will attempt to better on its 93-237 season record. The Green Waves come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 81-48 non-league loss to Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK).
