Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), 54-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Muncie Central upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Wapahani (Selma, IN) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 11-1. Wapahani won 60-20 in their recent league match against Cowan (Muncie, IN)
The Rockets now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenandoah for a Mid-Eastern match on Saturday, January 4. Union will face a Raiders squad coming off a 61-11 non-league win over Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.
