The Pontiac Indians basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Plainfield Central Wildcats to 25 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Illinois Valley Central for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Pontiac will confront a Grey Ghosts team coming off a 58-36 non-league win over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Plainfield Central falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to confront the Tigers in a SouthWest Prairie - East game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-12. Joliet West lost 60-46 in their recent non-league game against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL)
