North Carolina High School Basketball - Wakefield routs Ravenscroft

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Wakefield Wolverines basketball team scored a big 81-24 triumph over the Ravenscroft Ravens.

The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Storm go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Willow Spring smashed Garner (Garner, NC), 62-14, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Oak City Prep Bears (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Ravenscroft will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
