In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Richmond-Burton Rockets basketball team scored a good 45-31 win over the South Beloit Sobos.
The Rockets (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Belvidere North defeated Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 49-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sobos battle the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. South Beloit will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Cogs come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 61-45 non-league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, IL).
