Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Newman moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Greenies travel to Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, December 23. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 9-0. Academy of the Sacred Heart 0-0 in their recent non-league test against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Sharks now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league test on Friday, December 27. Southside will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Lions record now stands at 14-3.
