The Berkley Bears ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils to 3 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a Oakland - White bout on Friday, December 27. Berkley will play a Colts team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Colts record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Grosse Pointe South moves to 2-8 on the season. The Blue devils host Utica (Utica, MI) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
