The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) and the visiting La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN), witnessed Waseca's ice hockey team defeat La Crescent by a score of 9-1.

The Bluejays (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Thief River Falls (Thief River Falls, MN). The Prowlers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Thief River Falls ran past Crookston (Crookston, MN), 8-3, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. La Crescent will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN).
