The Bertie Falcons basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Currituck County Knights to 33 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Gates County for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.
The Knights now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manteo for a match on Tuesday, January 7. Currituck County will face a Redskins squad coming off a 50-40 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 5-1.
