In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball team scored a big 64-19 win over the Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles.
The Pioneers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Mojave smashed Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV), 69-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a contest, on Monday, January 6. Somerset Sky Pointe will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
