Destiny Christian Academy Lions (Sacramento, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 55-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Destiny Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 6-4. Weston Ranch lost 60-30 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (Stockton, CA)

The Bruins now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodcreek for a match on Friday, January 3.
