The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers to 52 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Warhill for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Woodside will confront a Lions team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Oscar Smith falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Granby (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Comets go into the game with a record of 1-3. Granby won 58-21 in their recent non-league game against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA)
