The Downey Knights basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Argonaut Mustangs to 43 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradshaw Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. Downey will battle a The Pride team coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The The Pride record now stands at 8-6.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Golden Valley was routed by Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA), 44-33, in a non-league contest.
