The Bolsa Grande Matadors basketball team (Garden Grove, CA), was nudged 49-47 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Fairmont Warriors (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
The Warriors now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Fairmont will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-9.
The Matadors (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Oxford Academy was nudged by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 52-50, in a non-league battle.
