The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT), 62-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Redhawks (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars go into the Metro test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Mt. Mansfield was trounced by Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 69-53, in a league test.
The Colonels now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Monadnock for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Brattleboro will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 63-45 league win over Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH). The Huskies record now stands at 1-3.
