Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) and the host St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA), saw Cedar Grove's basketball squad overcome St. Francis by a tally of 69-53.
With the victory, Cedar Grove improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Knights confront the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA).
