Mississippi High School Basketball - Forest Hill tipped by Holmes County Central

The Holmes County Central Jaguars basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Forest Hill Patriots to 46 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanier for a non-league contest on Monday, December 26. Holmes County Central will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-48 non-league win over Velma Jackson (Camden, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.

The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 4 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Jim Hill nudged Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
