The Pinckney Pirates basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Fowlerville Gladiators to 41 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Pinckney will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-0.

The Gladiators (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Haslett (Haslett, MI). The Vikings enter the Capital Area - Red contest with a 1-3 record.
