Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Graham Local Falcons (St. Paris, OH), saw Shawnee's basketball squad hold off Graham Local by a count of 45-40.

With the victory, Shawnee upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Falcons play the Benjamin Logan Raiders (Bellefontaine, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge, on Friday, January 6. Graham Local will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
