South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Gate upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Rams travel to Warren (Downey, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Warren won 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Yankees play the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 2. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 64-56 non-league win over Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA).
