Ohio High School Basketball - Ironton tipped by Russell

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Russell Red Devils basketball team scored a tight 53-47 triumph over the Ironton Fighting Tigers.

In their next game, the Red Devils meet the North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 27. Russell will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 72-70 non-league win over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN).

With the defeat, Ironton moves to 2-2 on the year. The Fighting tigers host Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to meet the Dragons in a Ohio Valley match on Tuesday, December 27. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 6-2. Fairland won 52-45 in their recent non-league match against Lucas (Lucas, OH)
