The Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT), 54-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Redmen (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut II test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Woodstock Academy went down by East Lyme (East Lyme, CT), 56-55, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Montville for a Eastern Connecticut IV test on Tuesday, December 27. Wheeler will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
