Virginia High School Basketball - Veritas Collegiate Academy thwarted by Manteo

The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was toppled 64-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC)

The Redskins now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Currituck County for a 2A/3A Conference 15 battle on Tuesday, January 3.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Hanahan beat Burke (Charleston, SC), 56-45, in a non-league battle.
