In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mohave Accelerated Patriots basketball team scored a good 77-63 triumph over the Needles Mustangs.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Mohave Accelerated will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV).

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) in a 2A Southern challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Needles will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 65-64 non-league loss to Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV).
