The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Nelson County Cardinals to 17 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27.

The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees come into the District 19 contest with a 3-0 record.
