The Richmond Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Douglas Byrd Eagles to 35 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoke County for a 3A/4A Conference 24 contest on Tuesday, January 3.

The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.
