The Hilltop Lancers basketball team scored 29 points and held the host Preuss UCSD Tritons to 25 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Thursday.

In their next game, the Lancers face the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 23. Hilltop will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Buccaneers enter the game with a 2-12 record after their 66-22 non-league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).

With the defeat, Preuss UCSD moves to 4-7 on the year. The Tritons travel to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 28. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 7-2.
