The Sheridan Generals basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Licking Valley Panthers to 16 in the Generals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Generals now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maysville for a Muskingum Valley contest on Wednesday, January 4. Sheridan will meet a Panthers team coming off a 54-17 league loss to Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.

The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Little Muskies enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, John Glenn triumphed over Morgan (McConnelsville, OH), 65-23, in a league contest.
