The Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ), 29-26 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their test against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record.
The Panthers now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bergenfield for a Big North - National test on Tuesday, January 3. Pascack Valley will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 73-10 non-league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
