Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 47-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sage Ridge upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Westlake (Westlake Village, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Westlake lost 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA)

Next up, the Railroaders play the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a 3A Northern - West bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
