Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA), 41-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orland upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Las Plumas lost 40-24 in their recent non-league bout against Shasta (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 45-39 non-league win over Orland (Orland, CA).
