The Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team (El Dorado, CA), was overwhelmed 63-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA)
The Cardinals now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Laguna Creek will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Davis (Davis, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-7.
The Diamondbacks (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Roseville trounced Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 56-51, in a non-league battle.
