Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA), 72-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Menlo-Atherton upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Knights play the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Menlo School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
