Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 59-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Organ Mountain upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Fighting Colts play the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Silver will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
