In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Archbishop Alter Knights basketball team scored a tight 83-82 triumph over the University Buccaneers.
In their next game, the Knights meet the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 23. Archbishop Alter will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 41-25 non-league win over Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC).
With the defeat, University moves to 7-3 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to meet the Chiefs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 2. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 4-6. Cherokee won 63-31 in their recent non-league match against Washburn (Washburn, TN)
