Ohio High School Basketball - Archbishop McNicholas nudges Covington Catholic

December 22, 2023: Cincinnati, OH 45230

In Friday's non-league outing, the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets (Cincinnati, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), by a count of 61-58.

The Rockets (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Mars was tipped by Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH), 55-53, in a non-league outing.

The Colonels now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Florida State University High School for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Covington Catholic will clash with a Seminoles squad coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Treasure Coast (Port St. Lucie, FL). The Seminoles record now stands at 7-4.
