The Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) basketball smashed the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 65-38 in Friday's non-league contest.
The Lions now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deshler for a 4A Area 16 contest on Tuesday, January 2.
The Falcons (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Athens Bible (Athens, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Athens Bible triumphed over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL), 67-54, in a non-league contest.
