Texas High School Basketball - Chavez overwhelmed by Sterling

The Sterling Rangers basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting Chavez Lobos to 56 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.
The Rangers now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 2.
The Lobos (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Houston, TX). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record.
