The Chinle Wildcats basketball team scored 96 points and held the visiting Shonto Prep Grizzlies to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Basis for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Chinle will battle a Yeti team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Yeti record now stands at 9-2.

The Grizzlies (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Whitehorse triumphed over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
