In Friday's league match, the visiting Cocalico Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-42 triumph over the Ephrata Mountaineers.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 4. Cocalico will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
With the defeat, Ephrata moves to 3-3 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 27. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-3. Northern Lebanon won 57-39 in their recent non-league match against Williams Valley (Tower City, PA)
