Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI), 90-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Platteville upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hillmen travel to Evansville (Evansville, WI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Evansville lost 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lodi (Lodi, WI)

Next up, the Cardinals play the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions (New Berlin, WI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 79-68 non-league win over Martin Luther (Greendale, WI).
