Custer County Cowboys (Miles City, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Park Rangers (Livingston, MT), 72-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Custer County upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Cowboys host Havre (Havre, MT) to play the Blue Ponies in a A Northeast bout on Saturday, January 6. The Blue Ponies go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Rangers play the Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) in a A Southeast bout, on Friday, January 5. Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Locomotives go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Fergus (Lewistown, MT).
