Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dayton Pirates (Dayton, OR) and the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), saw Dayton's basketball squad knock off Klamath Union by a count of 72-63.

With the victory, Dayton upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Catlin Gabel won 62-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR)

Next up, the Pelicans play the Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Klamath Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
