The Helix Highlanders basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Del Lago Academy Firebirds to 56 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Helix will battle a Titans team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to North Central (Spokane, WA). The Titans record now stands at 2-4.

The Firebirds (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record.
