Maryland High School Basketball - St. John Bosco nips DeMatha

St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. John Bosco upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Clovis North won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Woodinville (Woodinville, WA)

Next up, the Stags play the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Tuesday, January 2. DeMatha will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.
