Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), 75-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wauconda upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Barrington (Barrington, IL) to clash with the Fillies/Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Fillies/Broncos go into the bout with a record of 8-2.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Dundee-Crown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 47-33 league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL).
