The Edison Chargers basketball team (Milan, OH), was nudged 66-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH)

The Mounties now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestview for a Firelands battle on Saturday, December 30. Mapleton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 85-46 league win over New London (New London, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 7-0.

The Chargers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Huron (Huron, OH). The Tigers come into the Sandusky Bay - Bay battle with a 2-2 record.
